# Plans & entitlements

Features are gated by a two-tier model: the **plan is the ceiling**, and a per-project **policy** can only narrow it. The effective set is their intersection.

## What each plan grants

### Free

The full drag-and-drop editor with every block, Google Drive & S3 asset sources, and the HTML and MJML render API. Your app gets the HTML with `exportHtml()`. The Download HTML button in the editor, white-label branding, the theme manager, inbox previews and the QA audit are paid. No paid feature flags.

### Pro

## Policy narrows the plan

A project policy flag can only *remove* a feature the plan granted, never add one:

- `allow_ai: false` → strips all `ai.*` features.
- `allow_collaboration: false` → strips `collaboration`.
- `allow_exports: false` → strips `export.image` / `export.pdf`.
- `read_only: true` → locks all editing.

Effective = `plan features ∩ policy`. Configure the plan from the super-admin dashboard and the policy per project; both are enforced server-side.
