# Skill

The MailKaro **Skill** is a single markdown file (`skills/mailkaro/SKILL.md`) that teaches a model the design JSON shape, the block catalog, merge tags, special links, branding, and the render formats, so it authors valid emails first try. It's plain markdown: load it in *any* model, with or without the [MCP server](https://mailkaro.com/docs/mcp).

## Use it anywhere

- **Claude (Skills)**, drop the `skills/mailkaro` folder into your skills directory; the frontmatter registers it.
- **Cursor / Windsurf / VS Code**, add `SKILL.md` to your rules / context (e.g. `.cursor/rules`) so it's always loaded.
- **Any LLM / chat**, paste or attach `SKILL.md`; it's self-contained reference.
- **With MCP**, the same guidance is the `mailkaro://guide` resource, so an MCP host can read it directly.

✦ The Skill tells the model to confirm a block's fields with `get_block_schema` (or the `mailkaro://blocks` resource) rather than guessing, so it always matches the live renderer, even as blocks evolve. No stale copy to maintain.
